Our Story

Inspiring Generosity and Growing Disciples

Our Perspective

Horizons has always been known for helping churches raise money to fund their visions. But, Horizons has always stood for more than raising money. At the heart of everything we do is encouraging people to seek God’s will and to live into God’s generous and loving image. Our campaign prayer, “God, what do you want to do through me?” is the core of our work—to see God’s will be done rather than our own. When people respond willingly and generously to God’s direction for their lives, churches are able to fulfill their important ministry objectives.

Our Journey

Horizons was created in response to the struggles many congregations encounter in funding their visions for ministry. Our founder, Clif Christopher, saw the need to inspire generosity and make disciples through the church. Our expanding team of generosity experts partner with congregations across all denominational and geographical boundaries helping them grow giving and achieve their visions.

Our Future

Today, our multi-denominational team of ministry strategists and support staff continues to grow in both depth and breadth. With a full range of services, our team continues to work alongside churches and nonprofits to guide them on the journey to fulfill God’s unique vision for their ministry. Through it all, our mission is to inspire generosity and make disciples.
