Horizons Stewardship’s Response to Hurricane Harvey

by | September 1, 2017

Horizons Stewardship was founded on the core principle that God’s blessings, given to each of us, should be used for God’s work in the world.

From its brutal beginning, our hearts and prayers have been with those impacted by Hurricane Harvey.

And we know we are called to do more.

Horizons Stewardship has made a financial contribution to a ministry partner in East Texas.

And we know we are called to do more.

Going forward, we have told our ministry partners we will provide any financial counsel they may need as a part of the recovery process at no cost to them.

And we know we are called to do more.

If a damaged church eventually needs capital above and beyond their insurance coverage, we will assist them at no profit to Horizons.

And we know we are called to do more.

We continue to be open to other ways God may need us.

Our hope is that each of you, along with every church, will be moved to use God’s blessings, given to you for God’s work in the world, to assist the people of Texas impacted by Hurricane Harvey.

  1. Thanks be to God…….your compassion, your care, and your leadership gifts bring out the best when times are at their worst……
