David C. Lewis

David joined Horizons in 2003 after serving as a local church pastor for over 30 years. Twenty-one of those years he was the Executive Pastor of a 3,400 member congregation. In that capacity he was responsible for all matters relating to administration and stewardship. He is a certified church business administrator. David has unique skills in capital campaigns for medium-large churches, strategic planning, vision casting and specialty funding for missions.

Dr. Lewis graduated from Lambuth College and received his Master of Divinity from Duke University. His Doctorate is from St. Paul School of Theology. Emory University awarded him his Certification in Church Business Administration.

David lives in Memphis with his wife. They share two grown children.
